If you a collector or passioned about danish design you might know the son of Poul Henningsen (renowned designer, writer and artist). Simon is his name and as his father a brilliant lighting designer.

Simon Henningsen was back in the 60s together with Bent Karlby head of design at LYFA and made some of the most iconic lamps in danish design history.

Nippon which is the model name of this stunning piece and is extremely rare.

The light is made of two parts of lacquered rectangular sheet metal with two orange circles inside.

Excellent and close to mint condition with the factory label inside.

Light source: E27 / E26 edison screw fitting max 75W. Comes with new white cord.

Size: 22cm / 8.7” wide, 10cm / 3.9” deep and 26cm / 10.2” high.
