Vintage Ceiling Light Set of Two by Gunnar Jensen and Finn Monies for Louis Poulsen, Denmark, 1964 – Classic Danish Midcentury Lighting

€2,400.00
Only 1 available

Finding something like this beautiful Bornholm pendant is extremely rare but finding two is out of this world.

These large ceiling lights were designed for a shipping company based on the small island Bornholm and that’s how it got it’s name.

Made by Louis Poulsen in 1964 of lacquered metal and opaline milky white glass in the center.

A genious construction where the light itself floats by using three steel hooks and the glass is placed on the base rod. That way the ceiling light can be placed on a shipping and high waves won’t effect the light at all.

Good vintage condition. Has few scratches to the outer rim (please see pictures).

Light source: E27 / E26 edison screw fitting max 100W.

Size: 48cm / 18.9” diameter and 32cm / 12.6” high.

Price is for the set of two.
