Company LeClaire & Schäfer was a lighting company formed in 1890’s Germany and produced high-end quality lighting which this Torpedo desk lamp is a good example upon.
The light head formed as a torpedo is made of plated chrome and rich sunflower glossy yellow lacquer as is the neck and base as well.
This is indeed a stunning piece of design in a quality which is not made today.
The condition is mint without any scratches nor does it have any dents.
Light source: E14 edison screw fitting max 60W. Built-in switch to the base.
Size : 30cm / 11.8” deep and wide and 36cm / 14.2” high.
