Stunning, breathtaking and very rare table lamp by Tibor Hazi 1973.

Talking about quality it doesn’t get much better. A real contemporary space age design.

Hand blown thick smoked glass with a base of nickle plated metal.

Tibor Hazi a skilled glass blower from Hungaria made this amazing floor lamp. The glass was blown at the Tokod Glass Factory and due to the red color it had to be send to Parad Glass Factory to be colored. Hazi cut the glass himself and assembled the lights in his workshop. The bases were bent by hand.

The production of the lights was quite time consuming and the result of it is stunning.

The red light bowl is placed on the top rim and can be adjusted. The cross straps holds the wire in place.

In pristine condition. No cracks or marks to the glass and no scratches to the metal base.

Light source: E27 / E26 edison screw fitting max 75W. Switch attached to the cord.

Size: 43cm / 16.9” high, 33cm / 12.9”wide.
