Beautiful colorful wall art rug made by Deerstedt Unika, Denmark.
As a 20th design seller we are always looking for pieces for the modern home with a hint of the space age decade. To complement our selection of amazing lights and furniture we are happy to present our new home line: Deerstedt Unika - Beautiful and vibrant handmade wall art rugs.
This rug is inspired by Verner Panton’s Spectrum design from 1970s and is handtufted by ourselves. The wall piece consists of seven shades of purple in a strict square pattern - you choose how you want to display it by deciding which side is the top.
The rug is made by using a handtufing needle, various stunning acrylic and woolen yarns on a backing of hessian and linen. Brass rings are attached to the corners of the rug ensuring an easy wall mounting.
This particular unique design will never be re-produced which makes it unique. A modern take on a retro wall rug.
