A extreme rare danish 1950s wall lamp with opaline glass and teak.

Can’t take my eyes of this beauty.
Made in Denmark in 1950s and represents the late stilnovo era.

Ball shaped opaline glass decorated with black stripes attached on brass base which is placed on a bow shaped stem. The stem has a black lacquer to it and both pointed ends have solid teak.

The wall bracket is plated with brass to create an attachment to the base of the opaline shade.

It’s just such a beautiful piece and super rare. We have never seen one before. The light could be produced by Lyfa or any of the great danish manufactors of the time.

Very good condition where only few scratches to the lacquered bow shows signs of usage.

Light source: E14 / E12 edison screw fitting max 40W.

Size: 28cm / 11” high, 8,5cm / 3.3” wide and 20cm / 7.9” deep.
